It might be because the special breakfast menu is only available at one Nando’s branch in the UK – which happens to be the one in the Gatwick South Terminal.
For whatever reason, the news is only just beginning to hit home, thanks to the few intrepid travellers who’ve helpfully shared pictures of their Nando’s Benedicts and Corny Browns across Twitter.
Now we’re all aware, however, people are very excited.
The breakfast menu is available between 4am and 11am. You can have Peri-Peri chicken, or you can the Nando’s breakfast with flame-grilled chicken sausage, eggs, mushrooms, saucy fiery beans, grilled tomato and crispy Corny Browns (hash browns with corn).
Alternatively, you could try the Nando’s Benedict (chicken fillet pieces, two poached eggs and wilted spinach, topped with PERI-hollandaise – simply choose your heat), or go completely rogue and get some spiced maple pancakes.
No more airport ‘Spoons for you.
Although Gatwick South is the only branch of Nando’s in the UK to serve breakfast, it turns out, a breakfast menu is also available in select restaurants across the world.
Which led us to ask the obvious question – will breakfast Nando’s be rolling out across the UK at any point?
