Photography can be quite funny when it is giving right timing. Given all that athletes put their bodies through it is very easy to capture some awkward looking still photos with as many photos as are being taken during a professional event. Let's take a look at some perfectly timed sports shots that'll have you laughing hard or scratching your head.
1. Having something like this happen to you would be a pain in the ass no matter who you are! well I would feel sympathy for a man who got rammed by a bull, but odds are this guy was either trying to stab the bull or run away from it as if it were some kind of game. Well he just lost!
2. This skater took a pretty nasty fall at what seems to have been a very high speed. That or there was very shotty construction work done on this rink. She looks like the wicked witch from the Wizard of Oz on ice. It probably hurt but this is one classic shot of an epic fail!
3. This photographer captured an extremely bad ass shot of this wake-boarder. The flat and unusually calm surface of the water gives off a reflection that is almost identical to a mirror. With the surfer completely parallel to the water only inches above the surface, this shot is one of the best action shots in this gallery.
4. Extreme flexibility is a requirement to become a successful figure skater. Along with that flexibility comes lot of moments that may not look natural when photos are taken mid-performance. This skater shows off just how flexible her spinal chord is looking like an contortionist with skates on! Yoga is a must when competing in this sport!
5. When it comes to competition there isn't much that we as humans won't do to Win! Just ask Nancy Kerrigan or Mike Tyson... Those athletes went to the extreme when they feared losing and this dude right here seems to have taken a page out of Tyson's playbook by enjoying some finger food during the competition.
6. FLOTUS is seen here showing off her tennis game, or lack there of. It looks like she is definitely going to make contact but this is what they mean when they tell you to always keep your eye on the ball. From the looks of the player in the background she does not agree with Michelle Obama's form...
7. Every now and then an athlete tries something new. This hurdle runner thought he would try going under instead of jumping over and learns his lesson the difficult way. The busted nose and scar on his face will serve as an eternal reminder next time he decides to compete again. Certainly not the most graceful way to lose an event.
8. Oh Lebron... It's one thing to get caught in your car when you're by yourself, but when you are at a professional game with a bunch of cameras and millions of eyes on you, you should probably consider leaving the gold dig for the locker room. But when you are one of the best in the game I guess you can pretty much do whatever you want!
9. This is why hair ties are not just for looks when it comes to sports. Granted a person's vision is not a vital component of this here event, but if you know pictures are going to be taken it's probably better not to come out looking like Han Solo's sidekick! She looks like Leo DiCaprio in Man in the iron Mask...
10. Here is a perfectly captured photo of not only this man being a hero and saving this young boy from a life with an eye patch. It is also a great life lesson for anyone sitting close to the batter's box at a baseball game. Playing on your phone during dinner is one thing but when you are in an area where line drive foul balls are likely then maybe keep your head up and alert during game play!
11. The UFC is not for the faint of heart. As of recently women started taking part in the Ultimate Fighting Championship venue and they are not messing around! In this shot we can see the brute force this woman is taking to the face from a punch from her opponent. That one just may leave a mark.
12. Let's just hope this batter was pitched a change up on this particular pitch... Taking a 90+ mph fastball to the face can cause some extensive damage. Squaring up for a bunt can prove to be quite the dangerous task if the pitcher isn't on his game as far as accuracy goes. That hurts just looking at it!
